Front Office Staff

Kami, Office Manager & Billing

Kami

Kami was born and raised with her 9 brothers and sisters in Sonoma County, California. In 2002, she left sunny California in search of a change of pace. Prior to her working at Atlas Family Chiropractic, she had worked in many customer service settings and knew that her outgoing personality would take her wherever she wanted to go. As of 2003, she found Atlas Family Chiropractic and has not looked back; she has now found a home/family with the team and patients at AFC.

Over the years, she has learned a lot about Chiropractic care and the benefits of having her spine checked on a regular basis. She is a huge advocate of Chiropractic & wellness and will let everyone she knows or comes in contact with hear the benefits as well. In the office, she is a jack of all trades and is happy to help in any area that is needed, such as the front desk, scheduling, insurance and patient education/care. She loves to attend seminars and being around other people that are just as passionate about the profession as she is. She is always there to help any patient that comes in as well as her AFC family.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tim and riding their Harley Davison, weight lifting, yoga, meditation, cooking new paleo dishes as well as fishing & being in the sun (whenever it comes out to play). When you come in, you can’t miss her… she is the one with the purple hair and a big smile just waiting to serve you!

Carrie, Chiropractic Assistant

Carrie

Carrie and Dr. Roundy officially met at the natural foods store where she worked for 5 years. She learned much in her experience there about how to live a healthy lifestyle and went on to be a massage therapist for 6-years. When introduced to Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic care, it felt like it just made sense as a patient to round out her healthcare needs and to help her massage clients take care of their bodies as well.

Carrie and Dr. Roundy married in 1998 and have Emma (14) and Will (11), who attend school in Gig Harbor, but spent their earlier years at the Tacoma Waldorf School, which was a wonderfully well-rounded education and base for them to have a life-long interest in learning.

Carrie received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Whittier College in California.

I was introduced to chiropractic care at the recommendation of a friend decades ago after being injured in a pedestrian vs. motor vehicle accident. I had initially been referred for other treatment options that were time consuming and proved to be unsuccessful in the long term. I was delighted to receive immediate results and really enjoyed the difference in philosophy. I have personally been enjoying the benefits of regular chiropractic care ever since.

A number of years ago, a mutual friend of the Roundy’s and mine told me I needed to make a point to talk with them, as she just knew we were destined for each other. I ended up meeting Carrie at this mutual friends birthday party and we did indeed hit it off and discussed me joining the Atlas Family Chiropractic team. And so it began.

I am excited each and every day to work with such amazing teammates in and industry I so strongly believe in the value and importance of. Seeing people being helped as I had been and continue to be everyday is a wonderful way to spend my work week and I am so proud to be a part of such a top shelf group of providers, therapists and administrators in a fun loving warm compassionate educational and healthy environment.

Come see us and meet us, if you haven’t already.

Kaitlyn, Chiropractic Assistant

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn was born and raised in a suburb of San Francisco. She moved up to Washington shortly after graduating high school and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington Tacoma. Kaitlyn was slinging coffee for eight years when she finally found Atlas Family Chiropractic and was adopted into the most welcoming family.

Since starting at Atlas Family Chiropractic in 2014, she has seen miracles occur before her eyes. Whether it is a baby being adjusted for the first time or a grown adult walking out of the office feeling like a million bucks, she claims that there is never a dull moment in the office. She loves that her passion for this job continues to grow. There is never a day that goes by that she is not learning something new, making a new friend, or working as a team. She is incredibly grateful for where she is in her life and could never thank Atlas Family Chiropractic enough.

When she is not at the office, Kaitlyn likes to do just about anything. On weekends, you can find her going on adventures with her family, cooking, going to baseball games, watching football, or spending quality time with her friends. Kaitlyn’s favorite thing in life is laughing. One of her goals is to make sure you leave the office with a smile on your face.

Hello! I’m Dr. Roundy’s assistant here at AFC.  I’m passionate about empowering others to feel more in control of their health, whether by guiding you through a decompression schedule, teaching you how to be more functional through at-home exercises, or helping you find the right supplements for your needs, I want you to know that we are your most passionate health advocates!

In 2004, I first began learning about the importance of a healthy diet when I became an independent distributor for a health and wellness company.  In the pursuit of optimal health, I’ve since learned the ins and outs of many different diets, from vegan to paleolithic.

In 2009, I transitioned from a Taekwondo assistant instructor to an instructor.  I have over ten years of experience working with children and adults in developing strength and flexibility through martial arts, no matter their level of ability or experience.

My time here at AFC has allowed me to hone my experience in a clinical setting, and work with a variety of people with different limitations.  I’m always excited to learn more about nutrition, physiology, and fitness, and encourage you to welcome positivity in your life through health.
