Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic in University Place WA
Atlas Orthogonal is a gentle, effective and state-of-the-art spinal correction procedure that uses percussive sound waves to correct the frist bone of the spine – the atlas. It removes brainstem pressure, helps restore body balance and reactivates the body’s natural healing ability. No manipulation (twisting or cracking) is ever employed or needed. Each patient’s correction is tailored to them and no two corrections are the same.

Laser Therapy is nothing more than shining a high intensity light into the area of interest, it’s just that this “light” is very intense, “monochromatic” (one wavelength), coherent (all the photons are in phase and synchronized) and is applied with a very specific dose in mind. Custom Orthotics
Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the need for custom orthotics. Aside from the patient’s history, Dr. Roundy assess the wear patterns present on well-worn shoes and the feet are inspected for signs of dysfunction, such as restricted joint motion, caluses, bunions, etc. If there are indictions for foot/ankle dysfunction, then a computerized gait scan will be performed to assess the movement patterns of the foot while in motion.
Essentially the patient will walk across a digital pressure plate and the computer will measure how the foot moves during a normal stride. 300 times per second, the center-of-gravity of each foot will be assessed for movement patterns and force loads at specific anatomical landmarks . . . truly state-of-the-art!
