AO instrument
We specialize in Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. In the chiropractic world, nothing approaches the specificity and gentleness of the Atlas Orthogonal Percussion Instrument. The spinal adjustment is performed with a percussive impulse and coordinates for making the correction are based on x-rays of the neck taken at 3-different angles so that a 3-Dimensional approach to spinal correction is taken.
There is no twisting or popping of the cervical spine and the adjustment is made with a percussive impulse (sound wave).
Digital Radiography
To see is to know, to not see is to guess. So that we can see your structure the best, we utilize digital radiography. The advantages are lower x-ray exposure to the patient with superior picture quality. Additionally, our equipment is perfectly aligned (and regularly verified) so that we can make precise biomechanical measurements for the best possible spinal correction.
Non-surgical Spinal Decompression
Non-surgical spinal decompression is utilized for cases with disc herniations, bulges, stenosis and osteoarthritis. This tool is not for everyone, but for those who are candidates, nothing can replace the effectiveness of this form of care. We have taken care of many people who had “tried everything” only to find out that their problems were mitigated or corrected with spinal decompression.
Laser Therapy
In many situations, we will employ laser therapy to help facilitate a quicker healing response time. Old injuries, wounds, carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve problems typically respond very well to laser. We currently utilize a highly advanced 3000 mW laser and have found it very beneficial for deep injuries, superficial wounds, inflammation, shingles, dental pain, sore throats and various other problems.
Digital Foot & Gait Scanner

At Atlas Family Chiropractic, we have a digital foot scanner so that we may accurately assess any disruption in your “foundation.”
With our scanner, we can quickly determine dysfunction with your feet and see how you walk with digital measurements occurring 300x/second across 4,000 receptors.
